Motherlode Roundup was a BLAST! The weather was BEAUTIFUL, The Sherriff's Posse were GREAT, and the Rodeo itself was EXCITING! Each contestant performed very well, considering the stock they used gave each of them quite the challenge ;) ... WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!
Thank you Ty and Todd for making things run so smoothly and for being such wonderful people! The ENTIRE Sherriffs Posse Committee know how to run not only a spectacular rodeo, but also how to make a very memorable weekend.
I had the privelage of meeting all sorts of visiting royalty and the Motherlode Roundup '09 Queen- Ariel , '10 Queen- Kendra, '10 Contestants- Sarah and Kristin, and Motherlode Roundup Past Royalty! Thanks girls for making it a fun filled trip, I wish you nothing but the best in all your endeavors!
The 2 day rodeo was full of non-stop action! A long parade down Main Street, wild horse races, calf scramble, a locals roping, kiddie rodeo, and Punkintown Smith-who was a GREAT Entertainer and Rodeo Clown! - If you're ever in the Central California area, around Mother's Day, be sure to stop by Sonora, California for their Spectacular Motherlode Roundup!!
